“My name is Maria and I am an energetic woman with a passion for travel and exploration. I was born in Colombia, but my wanderlust has taken me all around the world. 22 years ago, me and my husband moved to Boston, with a 4 year-old-boy and a baby on the way. I fell in love with the city.

I have traveled and organized tours throughout South America and Europe, and I now have the pleasure of working as a Boston tour guide. I have a great knowledge of the city and its history and I love showing visitors around. Beyond talking about dates and historical records, I try to find the stories behind the known facts, the gossip, the anecdotes, the fun facts. I think clients will find that far more interesting!

I am fluent in Spanish and Italian— I use both languages in my work as a tour guide. I am always looking for ways to learn more about the cultures I visit and am open to any new experiences that come my way. I am an organized and detail-oriented person and I love helping others discover the beauty and history of the places I visit. I strive to make sure that everyone has an amazing experience. My life is filled with adventure and I am sure that I will continue to explore and discover new places for many years to come.”
